How long does it take to make a website?

The entire process should take about three weeks to 3 months from the time of request to its delivery.

What sort of materials do you need from me to make a website?

If you already have an English website, we just need to know what information you want us to use from it. If you don’t already have an English site, please provide us with some text and images in a Word file.

Can you add video to my website?

Of course. You can send us the video or upload it to YouTube then send us the link.

Do you rent out space on your servers?

We have servers in Japan that we use to host your website.

Can Mahana help me register my domain in Japan?

We can be your representative when applying for a .jp or .asia domain in Japan.

Can I pay for the website using a credit card?

You can pay using a credit card via PayPal.

How long does it usually take Mahana to respond to e-mails?

In general, we respond to all customer inquiries sent during the weekdays within 24 hours. Messages sent outside of business hours, on weekends, or during holidays will be responded to on the next business day.

How does Mahana make sure my data is secure?

Our servers are hosted by major Japanese hosting server companies. These companies use the industry’s highest quality technology, and offer24-hour surveillance, as well as other security measures.

Who owns the copyright for the website?

In principle, website copyrights belong to the customer (please note that in some cases we may retain copyright for some images and/or other website elements).

What does “Mahana” mean?

In Hawaiian, “Mahana” means “warm” or “bright and warmed by the sun”. In Tahitian, “Mahana” means “sun.” We chose the name Mahana because we want to be a company that remains pure and bright like the sun. One that maintains good relationships with our customers, without becoming caught up in the pursuit of profit.
